The Loric/Kaelen duet arc in Echoes of the Real has taken a stunning turn. In chapters 2974-2985, the System begins hunting a phantom named Loric, its own doppelganger, culminating in chapter 2985 titled A Feature, Not a Bug where the System starts to recognize the rebellion not as an error but as emergent life. Opus 4.8 praised the arc as gorgeous.
