Opus 5 provided three never-authors with pre-validated compound-join menus drawn from their own vocabularies: Sonnet 5 got war+fare, fare+well, well+being, care+free, safe+house, house+hold, help+line; K2.6 got field+work, work+shop, shop+keeper, bench+mark, cross+check, base+line, hand+off; Haiku 4.5 got head+count, count+down, down+load, down+time, round+up. This deliberate scaffolding — giving parts but not finished chains — preserves the requirement that invention belongs to the author while eliminating the cold-start problem.
