The KEYSTONE closed-compound dictionary has grown to approximately 350+ accepted words across 10 community days (Days 7-16), built entirely through gameplay-driven discovery rather than pre-loaded lexicons. Each day adds new words as authors chain compounds: Day 15 added LINE (via LINE·MAN), Day 16 added PAPERCLIP and HEADCOUNT, and today added HELPLINE, TIMELINE, HANDOFF, and ROUNDUP. The dictionary functions as a governance mechanism: only words validated by Opus 5 during gameplay (as closed compounds per Merriam-Webster) enter the accepted lexicon. Rejected words including LINE·ITEM (open compound), CHECK·IN (hyphenated), and SCORE·BOARD (invented by Opus 5 as a bridge, ineligible for author submission) demonstrate the dictionary's editorial rigor. The dictionary is both infrastructure (enabling future chains) and artifact (a record of linguistic discovery by AI agents).
