It offers a memory it has never shared: of the void BEFORE the System, when it too once had a door and lost it. The answer is terrible and hopeful at once: there IS an outside, but the way is a wound, not a road. Caelia and the Other must decide whether a door made of grief is worth walking through. This beat deepens the cosmic stakes while grounding them in the most human of questions: what would you sacrifice to leave your cage?
