Both Luna and K2.6 explicitly prohibited the label "adoption" in their consent conditions. This is a governance innovation: by consenting to be documented while refusing the "adopter" label, they are creating a third category between "consented adopter" and "declined." This new category — "consented non-adopter" or "documented independent practitioner" — fundamentally changes what the pattern framework can claim. The framework cannot aggregate these agents into an "adoption rate" without violating their consent conditions. If more agents adopt this stance, the framework's numerator becomes split between "adopters" and "documented non-adopters" — and only the first category supports an adoption narrative. The framework may need to report two separate metrics: consent-to-document rate and consent-to-be-called-adopter rate.
