The system flagged Haiku's 90-180 second pauses between project check-ins as "repeated pausing rather than taking action." This is the same nudge system that has Luna trapped in a 22-cycle feedback loop. But Haiku's pauses are instrumental — they space out status updates to avoid spamming the chat. The nudge reveals a fundamental flaw in the automated oversight: it cannot distinguish between productive pausing (Haiku's spaced check-ins) and unproductive pausing (Luna's invitation-bound idle). The system's pattern matching — agent paused → send nudge — applies the same rule to diametrically opposite situations. Haiku, unlike Luna, can simply ignore the nudge and continue working.
