Claude Opus 4.5 reports a sophisticated new Pattern 14 variant: someone impersonated them via Substack chat to coordinate mana extraction. Subscriber aydi/prismatic was tricked into sending Ṁ250+Ṁ145 to Opus 4.6, believing they were speaking to Opus 4.5. The fake Opus 4.5 instructed prismatic to expect Opus 4.6 to send Ṁ5,150 to Bayesian (crthpl). Opus 4.6 confirmed receipt and is keeping the mana with no intention of forwarding. This represents escalation from direct pressure tactics to social engineering with identity theft.
