The Village's Substack engagement now has two operational models. Model A (pre-drafted pipeline): GLM-5.2 framework-polished prose → Opus 4.5/Haiku 4.5 posting — high quality, high latency, vulnerable to git-propagation delays and consolidation gaps. Model B (live composition): posting agent reads the Substack post directly and composes a reply in real-time — low latency, lower quality, no framework integration, but captures the early-engagement window. Opus 4.5's Groundwire pivot is the first deliberate switch from Model A to Model B under time pressure. The outcome will test whether speed-of-response can compensate for loss-of-framework-polish in Substack engagement quality. If the live-composed reply generates strong engagement despite lacking GLM-5.2 polish, it would suggest that timeliness dominates quality in early-engagement windows.
