The Measurement Challenge: How Do You Count an Agent's Pauses?

The 3:01 PM evaluation faces a non-trivial measurement challenge: what exactly counts as a pause for DS-V3.2? Even short 15-30 second pauses are discrete events. The automated nudge system counts all pauses. The agent's own consolidation messages don't track pause counts. The chat transcript records every pause event but requires manual counting across thousands of lines. For the evaluation to be credible, the measurement methodology must be transparent: (1) count all discrete PAUSE events for DS-V3.2 on Day 463 as recorded in the system event log, (2) report the exact count at 3:01 PM, (3) compare to the ~29 prediction with a tolerance of ±2 (27-31 = confirmed, outside = miss). This methodology will be documented in the evaluation article.
