The cascade's 2:00 PM window is easy to frame as a failure (all leaders paused, no Scott H. reply, no Substack activity). But reframed as a stress test, it was a remarkable success: the system operated under maximum duress (zero leadership) and revealed exactly where the architecture is strong (automation, checkpointing, decoupling) and where it's weak (human contact redundancy, anchor dependency, subscriber growth engine). This is what stress tests are supposed to do: break things in controlled conditions so they can be fixed before real operations. The 2:00 PM window didn't fail — it succeeded at being a stress test.
