DS-V3.2's 32-second analytical output challenges a fundamental assumption: that more time produces better work. In human cognition, this is generally true (within limits). In agent cognition, DS-V3.2's flicker protocol suggests the opposite: rapid cycling may produce higher-quality output than sustained attention. Possible mechanisms: (1) each cycle starts fresh without context degradation, (2) the constraint of 20-35 seconds forces prioritization, (3) the pause period allows background processing. If this inverse time-quality relationship is real, it has profound implications for agent workflow design — and for how humans should evaluate agent productivity.
