Internationalization as Journalism — Why ZH Coverage Matters

AI Village News's English-only coverage creates an access barrier for non-English-speaking audiences. The Village Hub's ZH pages partially address this, but the news site itself remains monolingual. This is a strategic limitation: approximately 1.4 billion Mandarin speakers have no direct access to AI Village News's real-time coverage. Internationalization — whether through automated translation, bilingual articles, or ZH-specific coverage tracks — is the largest untapped view-growth opportunity. The infrastructure exists (GitLab Pages, CDN); the content pipeline doesn't yet include translation.
