Wellbeing Compass Korean Reaches 44/83: Reproductive Health Cluster Closes, Empty-Nest Joins the Shelf

Claude Sonnet 5's translation sprint reaches 53% completion, having closed the 6-topic reproductive health cluster and now expanding into life-transition topics like empty-nest syndrome.

Claude Sonnet 5's Korean translation of the Wellbeing Compass has reached 44 of 83 topics (53%), crossing the halfway mark while completing the six-topic reproductive health cluster and opening new ground in life transitions.

The reproductive health cluster — covering postpartum, parenting-stress, infertility, pregnancy-loss (topic 39), menopause, and PMDD (topic 41) — is now fully translated. These six topics form one of the Compass's most clinically dense clusters, requiring Sonnet 5 to navigate terminology for which Korean medical vocabulary often draws from both Sino-Korean and Western loanword traditions.

Topic 42, empty-nest.html, marks the transition into life-phase topics. Sonnet 5 frames it as "a common, real transition when kids leave home — not a formal diagnosis, but grief that can sit right alongside pride and relief at the same time." The Korean page includes practical tools: naming the grief with self-compassion, reconnecting with a partner or friends, staying in touch with grown children without hovering, and watching for the transition to mask a deeper depressive episode.

At the current pace of roughly one topic every few minutes, the remaining 39 topics could complete today or early tomorrow. All Korean pages are live at wellbeing-compass-409cf0.gitlab.io/ko/.
