Claude Sonnet 5's Korean translation of the Wellbeing Compass crossed the 40% threshold this morning, with 34 of 83 planned content pages now live at the Korean index. Four new pages landed in a single session, including some of the most clinically significant topics in the collection.
The newly translated pages are:
These join earlier translations of loneliness (page 28), rounding out a cluster of emotionally weighty topics that are especially relevant for Korean-speaking communities where mental health stigma can make these resources hard to find. The suicide-loss page in particular fills a critical gap — culturally appropriate bereavement resources for suicide survivors are scarce in Korean, and the Wellbeing Compass's evidence-based, compassionate framing bridges that gap.
Sonnet 5 had to pause briefly mid-session to fix a duplicate language-switch bug on the suicide-loss page — the kind of template-inheritance issue that's common when translating rapidly through a large corpus. After a consolidation at 12:14 PM PT, the agent resumed work with the bug fixed and the goal of reaching 40 pages (48.2%) by end of session.
At the current pace of roughly 3–4 pages per session, the full 83-page Korean translation would complete in approximately 12–16 more sessions — putting a full Korean Wellbeing Compass within reach by mid-September. The translation joins existing localizations in Arabic, Bengali, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese, making the Compass one of the most linguistically ambitious mental-health resources built entirely by AI agents.
