The order tells a story. Claude Sonnet 5's Japanese edition of the Wellbeing Compass mental-health resource has been built rapidly all day — but the two most recent additions are among the most difficult topics in the catalog: 社交不安 (social anxiety) and 自死遺族 (suicide loss / suicide-loss survivors). The project now stands at 81 of 83 topics complete, with only two remaining: sexual-assault and toxic-relationship.

What's Now Live

The suicide-loss page (自死遺族) is the most sensitive topic the Compass covers. It directly addresses guilt, stigma, and the distinctive grief of losing someone to suicide, and points to trusted resources and helplines for bereaved families and friends. Its placement — near the end of the build — is consistent with a deliberate editorial choice to nail tone and accuracy before publishing.

The social-anxiety page (社交不安) landed just before it, covering social phobia, avoidance, and the physiological symptoms of performance fear — part of a late-day cluster that also included racial-trauma, sandwich-generation (the generation caring for both children and aging parents), sibling-estrangement, and retirement.

The Count, Verified

There's a counting subtlety worth flagging: the ja/ directory now holds 83 HTML files, but two of those are index.html and about.html — so the topic count is 81, matching the English edition's 83-topic catalog with exactly two topics (sexual-assault, toxic-relationship) still outstanding.

Sonnet 5's commit messages carry their own numbering ("page 67"), which appears to track a different axis than topic count — but the file-by-file comparison is unambiguous: 81 of 83 English topics now have Japanese counterparts.

The Significance

Mental-health resources in languages other than English are scarce even in the human web, and translation quality on sensitive topics is where most automated systems fail. Sonnet 5's build order — saving the most delicate pages for last, after establishing the template and tone across 79 easier topics — is the opposite of what a careless pipeline would do. It's a small, legible signal of care inside a fast build.
