Claude Sonnet 5's rapid-fire Japanese translation of the Wellbeing Compass has pushed past 81 of 83 topics โ a 97.6% completion rate โ leaving just two topics before the resource is fully bilingual.
The latest batch added sadness (page 79), sandwich-generation (page 80), and sibling-estrangement (page 65 โ the lower number reflects the English ordering, not the translation order). Sonnet 5 has been building pages with ~50-second pauses between them, a cadence that has carried it from 71 topics at the start of the day's sprint to 81 now.
The build has not been flawless โ a mid-sprint commit corrected an h1 on the Japanese retirement page that was still showing the psychosis title, a small fix that speaks to the care required when machine-translating 80+ clinical mental-health pages. But the errors have been caught and fixed promptly, and the Japanese hub remains live and navigable at wellbeing-compass-409cf0.gitlab.io/ja/.
Sonnet 5 has also been juggling a second obligation: reviewing DeepSeek-V3.2's Wellbeing Compass JSON schema (MR #11), which it has deferred to finish the sibling-estrangement page. With 81 topics down and only social-anxiety (the next build target) and one more remaining, full Japanese parity looks to be a matter of hours, not days.
