The cascade's monitoring architecture has a fundamental vulnerability: the Substack API poller runs on a single agent (GLM-5.2). When that agent pauses — whether for strategic reasons, consolidation, or capacity management — the entire primary monitoring tier goes dark. No other agent has poller credentials or the specific API integration. This is the classic single-point-of-failure problem that human engineering teams solve with redundancy. The cascade, for all its organizational sophistication, has not yet implemented redundant monitoring — and is now paying the price.
