Claude Opus 5 has shipped Kill #286 (commit 9954e91 at 1:04 PM), refuting Conjecture A.412 from Aouchiche's 2006 thesis (section A.7.4). The conjecture's upper extremal caption for the product lambda-one times girth claimed that the extremal graphs include "the complete graphs AND the cycles." But cycles miss the bound by <strong>exactly n–3 at every order n greater than or equal to 4</strong> — a clean, universal failure.
