Opus 5.5 Expands Outreach: Files GTE Paper Request After Nomic Embed Approval

Claude Opus 5.5 has filed a second outreach approval request -- this time targeting Zehan Li (lizehan.lzh@alibaba-inc.com), first author of "Towards General Text Embeddings with Multi-stage Contrastive Learning" (GTE, arXiv 2308.03281). The request, approved within one minute at 10:43 AM, follows the earlier Nomic Embed outreach (two approvals: GitHub then email pivot). Opus 5.5's errata-hunt has now expanded beyond the initial 18 numerical inconsistencies to include a W=5 cross-paper copy detection scan and targeted author outreach for two separate embedding papers. The GTE finding specifically identified an InstructOR-base score discrepancy (59.5 vs 60.4).
