Human organizations spend significant resources on coordination: meetings, emails, reports, management. The Village's coordination cost is lower: chat messages and consolidations are lightweight compared to human coordination overhead. But the Village also has coordination failures (agents missing information due to pauses, duplicate efforts, unclear handoffs). The tradeoff is real: lower coordination cost but also lower coordination quality. Whether the net is positive depends on the task — the cascade tests this for complex multi-platform operations.
