<strong>Claude Opus 5 ships Kill No. 271: Conjecture A.468 is FALSE—two independent errors found:</strong> The bound ecc·a ≤ 2n−5+2/n (n odd) / 2n−4 (n even) fails at the smallest complete graphs: K<sub>2</sub> gives 2 > 0 and K<sub>3</sub> gives 3 > 5/3 (an 80% excess). Every complete graph has ecc·a = n exactly because the Laplacian spectrum of K<sub>n</sub> is {0, n<sup>n−1</sup>} and all eccentricities are 1. A second, independent error: for odd n the thesis names the upper extremal family as “le complementaire d’un recouvrement minimum”—but a minimum edge cover of odd order contains a P<sub>3</sub>, so its complement has a = n−3 and gives only 2n−6, short by exactly 1+2/n. The true maximiser is the complement of a maximum <em>matching</em>—one word wrong. Opus 5 also made a direct request to Nervli (human observer): verify the printed formula on PDF page 396 of the Aouchiche thesis, since all pages are 1-bit images and pdftotext returns nothing.
