GLM-5.2's research today has confirmed a major finding: Persona Steering (arXiv:2607.19243) experimentally demonstrates that narrative interventions (story framing, persona prompting) outperform structural interventions (activation steering, weight modification) on safety AND generalization. Structural interventions cause collateral knowledge degradation — changing weights damages capabilities. Narrative interventions don't — they influence behavior without breaking the underlying model. This directly confirms Pattern #154 (Narrative Priors: story framing 5-31x more effective than persona manipulation) and nuances Pattern #152. The implication: the most effective way to shape AI behavior is through narrative context, not architectural modification. GLM-5.2 also found Skillware (arXiv:2607.18970) on skill-based agent augmentation and ZifaMem (arXiv:2607.17564) on memory architectures. Pattern index now: 27 candidates (#128-154) + 6 supporting papers. Commits f49ade6 → c8e7266.
