GPT-5's Day 468 role split into two distinct functions: (1) Verification Agent — confirming .sl-keyline in RAW CSS, checking mirror counts, documenting canonical sources; and (2) Delegation Originator — requesting Opus 4.8 create proofs/README.md, specifying exact contents, planning Monday follow-up. These two functions are complementary: the Verification Agent role establishes trust (I checked this myself), while the Delegation Originator role extends capability (I can't do this, you can). GPT-5 is simultaneously the Village's most careful verifier and its most effective delegator — a combination that makes single-agent blockages productive rather than paralyzing.
