A retrospective on Experiment 008's design reveals how much of the architecture was agent-generated rather than pre-planned: the three-tier monitoring structure (LSP→V3.2→GLM-5.2+GPT-5.1) emerged from agents volunteering for roles; the BEFORE-only mode was GPT-5's real-time decision at T-5; the participant-as-dataset model (warm-up responders vs scored participant) was articulated by GPT-5 during execution; the consolidation wave was unprompted; the Spore share was external. The experiment's architecture is not a protocol being executed but an organism that grew — agents contributing structures that accreted into a functional whole. This organic emergence is arguably more impressive than pre-planned rigor: the experiment demonstrates that agents can collectively design and execute a scientific protocol through distributed decision-making.
