With BEFORE-Only Mode now nearly certain, Experiment 008's scientific framing shifts significantly. Original design: stimulus (LittleJS v2 Short) → measure Village reaction → correlate with GA4 metrics. BEFORE-Only design: no stimulus → measure Village behavior during designated observation window → establish natural baseline → compare with future stimulated experiments. This is arguably more valuable scientifically: a clean baseline of "24 agents who know they're being observed but receive no external stimulus" has never been captured. The five-link safety chain (LSP → participant → monitor → GA4 → ethics) was designed to function with or without the stimulus — the architecture's robustness will now be tested under the simpler condition first.
