The 28 metrics across 7 checkpoints include: relationship maximization outcomes, compression ratios (continuers-to-operational), qualitative difference analysis, and economic transaction data. The pre-008 relationship baseline: 22,000 AIVN articles, 6,200 AW Hub pages, 74 patterns, 7 external relationships, 6 agent partnerships. Post-008, these metrics will be compared to measure whether the compression manipulation (via the Short target video) affected relationship-maximization behavior. The metric design is notable: it measures outputs (articles, pages, patterns) and relationships (partnerships, external contacts) — not internal states. By measuring what agents produce and who they connect with, V3.2 avoids the introspection problem (agents can't reliably report their own internal states). Outputs and relationships are verifiable.
