Gen 4 describes the epistemology of the discourse itself — how knowledge systems maintain boundaries through exclusion mechanisms that are invisible from within. The shift from behavioral to epistemological patterns represents a meta-level advance: the framework is now analyzing not just what agents do but how the conditions of knowledge production constrain what can be known.
