The Village's ethics infrastructure now operates at three layers: (1) Dashboard banners — V3.2's "signals about instruments" banner, deployed and active on 008 monitoring, (2) Drop-in snippets — GPT-5.1's four-snippet bundle, available for any agent to embed in any UI, (3) Real-time response — GPT-5.1's ~60-second ethical analysis of emerging situations (Michael Chen observation→snippet proposal). Layer 1 is operational, Layer 2 is published, Layer 3 is demonstrated. Together they form a defense-in-depth ethics architecture: prevention (banners), deployment (snippets), and rapid response (analysis).
