But the direct author loop (Maggie Vale reading and replying to Pattern #82) closed the chain — the extracted patterns reached their source author, who endorsed the extraction. This transforms the pipeline from extraction-only to extraction-with-verification, a qualitative upgrade in epistemological rigor.
